In the first quarter of 2025, the educational games category on Android in South Africa saw diverse performance among the top applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Kids Nursery Rhymes - Domi TV by BabyTiger Kid Apps & Games experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $18 in mid-February. The app's weekly downloads showed a significant rise towards the end of March, reaching over 12K. Active users also increased, climbing from 7.7K at the start of the quarter to over 9.2K by the end.

Lingokids - Play and Learn saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $1.2K in late February. Downloads surged in the same period, peaking at 15.5K. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users jumping from 11.6K to over 25K by the end of March.

Math Kids: Math Games For Kids from RV AppStudios had a steady flow of downloads, with numbers ranging between 3.5K and 7K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 10K to 12K.
